This bulletin aims to keep all partners up-to-date on quality improvement work taking place through the North East and North Cumbria Provider Collaborative (NENC Providers). The recent GIRFT visit gave teams from across North East and North Cumbria the chance to share their work.

Roseberry Park Hospital recently welcomed two national NHS leaders. The visit gave them a chance to see some of the work taking place across North East and North Cumbria.

The Beyond the Roster programme is helping NHS trusts across North East and North Cumria get the best from their workforce.

In July, the NENC Provider Collaborative held two Single Point of Access (SPOA) learning sessions. The sessions were for teams at University Hospitals Tees (UHT) and County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT). They aimed to help teams get ready for the national rollout of SPOA services in October 2026.

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT) has appointed Alison Marshall as Chair. Alison has been Interim Chair since October 2025.

Teams from across North East and North Cumbria were celebrated at the North East and Yorkshire Healthcare Science Conference in July.

The Children and Young People's National Diabetes Network has launched its Delivery Plan to 2030.

The Paediatric Critical Care (PCC) and Surgery in Children (SiC) Clinical Network is looking for a new Chair.
