Healthcare leaders from across the North East and North Cumbria came together earlier this month for the NENC Elective & UEC Spring Conference, held at The Durham Centre.

On Monday 12th May, the Provider Collaborative had the pleasure of visiting the brand-new elective surgical hub at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton, part of University Hospital Tees. 

We’re proud to share that the latest NHS performance data for March 2025, published on 15 May, confirms that the North East and North Cumbria region continues to lead the way in planned care waiting times. 

We’re excited to share some great progress on the new NHS Medicines Manufacturing Centre (MMC) being built in Seaton Delaval.

Since its launch in late 2024, the region’s digital patient referral platform, Connect NENC, has facilitated more than 3,000 inter-hospital referrals, marking a significant step forward in modernising patient care.
