Roseberry Park Hospital showcases mental health care
Roseberry Park Hospital recently welcomed two national NHS leaders. The visit gave them a chance to see some of the work taking place across North East and North Cumbria.
During the visit, they toured the hospital and met staff Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) who support people with urgent mental health needs. They also heard about the Listening Service, which gives people a safe place to talk and get support.

Teams from across the region shared examples of work that is helping improve care. This included work to help people get support sooner and closer to home.
The visit also showed the value of working together. NHS teams, local groups and other partners are joining forces to improve services and support local people.
The day was a chance to share good work and celebrate progress. It also showed the strong links between teams across North East and North Cumbria.
