Free health literacy training – book your place

The Regional Health Literacy Team offers free training for people working in health, care, local authorities, and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations across the region.

These sessions will help you communicate more clearly with the public, making it easier for people to understand information, make informed decisions, and improve their health and wellbeing.

• Speaking skills
• Writing for health literacy: beyond the basics
• Train the Trainer

Some courses are available in both healthcare and non-healthcare versions. Both cover the same principles and practical skills, but use examples that are relevant to different workplaces. Please choose the version that best matches your role.
