Staff Wellbeing Hub – confidential support when you need it
Working or volunteering in health, social care or the voluntary sector can be rewarding, but it can also be challenging. If you are finding things difficult, whether because of work pressures or personal circumstances, support is available.
The North East and North Cumbria Staff Wellbeing Hub offers free and confidential support to anyone working in health and social care across the region.
The hub provides fast access to an experienced mental health professional for a one-to-one conversation. If needed, you can also receive up to three follow-up sessions. The team can help with a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, burnout, workplace pressures and challenges at home. They can also signpost you to other services if longer-term support would be helpful.
Accessing support is simple. You can refer yourself directly and your employer will not be informed. Most appointments take place by phone or video call, making it easy to fit support around work and family commitments. In most cases, you will be contacted within one working day.
